A native of San Diego, Dan began his career in 1987 working for such well-know mortgage companies as Transamerica Financial Group, Westcorp Equities, Inc. and Equity 1 Lenders Group. His experience originating loans spans the states of Arizona, Nevada, Washington, Oregon and Colorado, with primary focus in the state of California. In 1993, Dan joined Equity 1 Lenders Network, and was quickly promoted to Vice President of Direct Lending. There he successfully led the company’s growth to become one of the “Fastest Growing 100 Companies” in San Diego County, three years running. To date, Dan has personally originated over 1,000 real estate transactions, while overseeing an average of over $900 million a year in purchase and refinance volume company-wide. Dan is a graduate of the University of California, San Diego, where he earned a full scholarship playing for their respected NCAA baseball program. Dan is an active member of the North San Diego County Association of Realtors (NSDCAR), the Rotary Club of Encinitas, and Calvary Chapel Oceanside. As a cancer survivor himself, Dan also graciously donates his time to SPOHNC: Support for People with Oral, Head, and Neck Cancer. A current resident of the Oceanside of 20 years, Dan lives with his wife Lisa of 21 years, and their daughter Andrea, age 15.
